Caught a cold?? No idea how, I had not been out for weeks, still it's nearly gone but for the goo on my chest which I have no idea how to clear, I wonder if I caught it from the post?

Anyone got a proven recipe for clearing a gooey chest other than swallow some explosives?

All I know of is an expectorant cough médecine. It'll make you cough more for a bit but that's the point of it.

V*cks chest rub put enough on and the menthol fumes will travel upwards and make your eyes run.. a good way of telling you have put enough on..

South Wales

Vicks vapour rub on the chest and a wee bit under each nostril.

Olbas oil

Drink plenty of hot drinks.

Cough it up, spit it out into a tissue

Take a bite of ginger

Or Cook something with little chunks of ginger rather than finally chopped season well

It's the truth, a cold always went to my chest, and it was quite serious, so my doctors recommended I get a flu jab every year, so I did, and I had not had a cold , not even a sore throat, a chill or bugger all like it, let alone flu!

Manchester (she/her)

Drink lots of water. Only thing I know of that genuinely helps
