So I made a lovely chilli. Chopped everything up and put it in the sloe cooker.

About an hour later I went to the fridge and there sat the mince

So why do you have a "Sloe" cooker?

Best thing is what I like a firm prick,, then make Sloe gin with them.

Oh Fk....could you not stir fry the mince & add it....can be done....be stir fried in half hr....maybe add garlic & onion too to flavour the mince....that's what I'd do anyway

I just stuck it straight in the slow cooker. Don't think it will hurt everything else being in longer

Suffolk - East Anglia

A quick fry of the mince in the frying pan then add to the slow cooker; perfect. No worries. What was the problem?

At least you weren’t serving it up when you noticed - now THAT would have been dissapointing

and now I've just opened a bottle of wine that I had chilling in the fridge and it's bloody red not white. On the plus side my chilli seems to be cooking ok

Won't red go better with the chilli?

by the big field

Can’t remember what I made a few years ago, but got it all in, switched it on and buggered off for about 4 hours.

Came home ready for a lovey, warm tea…feckin switch was off on the wall socket
