I dont buy what I cannot afford - so I either dont buy or save up if it exceeds what I can afford at the moment in time.

We always save for what we want. Never use a credit card or go overdrawn. If we haven't the money we do without.

Ever since I got made redundant 6 years ago and got in to terrible debt I have not bought anything on credit. Paying for what you can afford or save up for is so rewarding - 3 holidays booked for this year altready

Unfortunately, I don't seem to have enough left over these days to save anything much, it's usually a panic on the last week of the month just to have fares to work

I've never had a credit card though thankfully and as soon as I can sell the house I'll get rid of me overdraught, then I shall save like me life depended on it!
