I was thinking this morning what everyone night do to enjoy their ME time.

Now, I know I'll get the response but I'm not really talking about the sexual "me" time but anytime you get to spend just resetting your mind or have time to reflect on yourself and do something you love. X

I like to ride a motorbike in lovely scenery. Not fast like a nobhead, just take in the sights and maybe stop somewhere nice for a coffee, it's good escapism.

I have learned that ME time is becoming more and more important. I think I said yesterday it’s about a little win.

I’ve started reading again, phone down, and a paperback

Also if it’s not raining, try and take my morning “cuppa” outside and watch the world slowly wake up.

For me it’s not about monetary value but almost like a reset.

I read something somewhere

Remember to close the tabs in your mind not just on your computer

I like to watch Korean dramas, I find them easy on the eye, and it relaxes me in a way that British dramas could never do.

I walk my puppy, he’s almost 9 months old and is at the age when everything he sees is new and amazing and exciting. It’s so rewarding to see the look of sheer joy on his face! After a hard day he has the ability to make my cares just disappear.

Dogs are ace. Ours is almost 16 now, a proper old lady but always a massive part of the family.

Being outdoors is the key for me. Either a nine long dog walk or my passion being running. Both allow me to explore different places, be in my own thoughts and help stay in good health

Sit quietly alone on my sofa with the radio on low and lay back and close my eyes. This frequently involves me nodding off. But the peace, the calm, the stillness is just bliss.

I rarely have me time, as I'm never really alone. However my husband and I enjoy quality time together and will spend it enjoying the simple things, one of my favourites being a walk on the beach.

My car died earlier in the year and I'm not planning on getting a new 1 till I'm back from holiday, otherwise I would have said go for a drive. Nothing resets me like a jaunt off somewhere on my own with maybe a good mountain hike or forest walk before coming home again.

Atm though, without a car, I just go for walks when I need a clear head and a little time to myself

Stone of these are great me time ideas.

I'm realising I really don't get enough of it. I miss not having a time in the day or week that brings me a selfish joy other than my family and close friends. X

GONE/TIMEOUT (No DMs please)

I'm very rarely alone,

I have kids and a noisy Job, so my "ME" time is usually quiet things.

Sitting by the seaside, or listening to music.

Reading up on geeky things.

I design a house in my head when I walk my dog of I've forgotten my headphones.

I'm no designer or architect but love the idea of building my own home, so I try to visualise what it'll look like x

Sucks your car died. I haven't been for just A drive for about 20 years...

I hope you get things sorted soon.

I use work trips as an excuse for me time.

Today I’ve been working in Manchester, so right now I’m taking myself out for a curry and then for cocktails. I love wandering a different city and finding good places. Urban exploring is definitely me time.

Neither am I but I've always been interested in architecture.
