Cancelled hotel meet

So, what do you do when you have a meet planned and you have the hotel booked, but they have cancelled? (Non refundable hotel…)

Do you go anyway and enjoy having a night in the hotel by yourself? Find a last minute meet? Stay home and learn for next time?

Depends what your desires are, but I'd say find a last minute meet. They are the best often!

Definitely go anyway and make the most of it. Who knows who you might meet in the bar downstairs

Take a friend and have a nice night anyway?

Seems a shame to waste a night away

Definitely do not stay at home ! Take a pampering kit and some bath salts - make it your evening. Check out what's on in the area - any events of your liking. Or ask some girl friend on a TV show binge overnight!

Enjoy

I’d go, change my location n see who else is staying there. N if nothing happened I’d have a long bath… but then I don’t have a bath at my house so that would be luxury for me x

I wouldn’t pay for a room again though x

Stay in the hotel yourself, go eat somewhere nice, pamper yourself and enjoy it.

Don't place your enjoyment in the hands of others, your plan B should always be you.

And if you want to get royally fucked by someone else and that's your treat...bloody go for it.

Don't let the sod make you stay in.....that's just wrong on so many levels. You're better than that

Go and treat yourself and enjoy the stay as much as you can. Then arrange to meet him again and but say that he has to pay for the hotel to make amends and then you no-show. Or maybe I'm just being petty

Either try and arrange a last minute meet. Still go to the hotel.

I'd probably hit the night life.

Check out what's going on within the hotel as we all use them

If it's a nice hotel and you've paid for breakfast then definitely go. Have that date with yourself

First off, what a prick for standing you up

Go to the hotel and have a "you" night, if you are comfortable being by yourself then go out, have some food and have a fun night, if you're not that person then just have a relaxing bath, films, chat to mates or have a friend over for company, learn from it but please don't stay at home you're worth more than that xx

I would go anyway. Enjoy a change from your own 4 walls.

I'm not so sure sitting in the bar is a good idea, you never know who you're going to meet and what people are like after a few drinks.

Have a night away and chill, have a meal have a few drinks in the hotel or a local bar, I am sure you would find company very easily.

I'd be in the hotel and getting my money's worth . I usually have too much to do on a stay, so a cancellation means I can relax and enjoy things more.

I always research other things to do, including museums, nature and a little shopping may be helpful. Or get a 100 man gangbang . I occasionally do an alternative meet check and it can work. But it depends on my levels of faff tolerance etc

Been there done that. Go and make the best of it... And sadly learn for next time. Don't pay for a hotel depending on a random stranger to show up.

A lot of non refundable hotels will still let you amend the date of your stay either online or over the phone so it's not always a lost cause.

Plan something for a different date instead?

I'd still go to the hotel....maybe someone you've met already might step in & meet you....defo don't waste the hotel room....even if it's just you staying there....get a nice munch in & binge watch your fav programmes ...spoil yourself in every way you can

Happened to me a few years ago in Wigan, I ended up spending most of the night with a very sexy young lady I met in the bar who had also been stood up (not by a fab meet).

"Don't place your enjoyment in the hands of others, your plan B should always be you."

Everything Ananke said sounds right to me, but this part especially.

That’s a fucking motivational poster, right there. Your plan B should always be yourself.

School boy error.

On a chance encounter on here always pay the late cancellation price, might cost you £30 more but if it goes head what’s £30 between sex mates. If it doesn’t you get your money back. Most of the major travel tavern hotels allow you to do that.

Lonely hotel rooms late at night can be a very difficult wank sometimes.

Hey

I know he is a little younger than your filter but a lovely guy with an awesome profile posted a thread

https://m.fabswingers.com/forum/support/1537126

I think he would be worth a chat to and maybe he could be the silver lining

(I don’t know him btw- just think he comes across really well)
