Away for Christmas

Not to be confused with Burden of glorious purpose.

Do you take pleasure in being right all the time? Are you right all the time, or acknowledge you may be a bit dim, and not always get it?

Are you a smug prick?

Depends.

Social situations and interactions? I'm usually wrong as I struggle reading them.

Facts about really bizarre and useless stuff? I'm usually correct

La la land

I know a lot about certain things and not a lot about others. I'm happy to admit I don't know something, which frankly is quite often and I have to go off to do some research or some experiments in work.

I do think people pass off a quick Google as actual knowledge quite often on here. And it kind of shows as the language they use changes. Plus nobody likes a know it all do they?

I'm dim, but if I know I'm right but someone is more an "in your face I'm right", when they are wrong I can be smug But it feels uncomfortable too

I'm definitely not always right and will put my hands up when I'm wrong. But depending on who im talking to, I do sometimes take pleasure in the smugness

I think the trick is to never totally believe anyone is right and to remain open minded to other possibilities

Manchester-ish

When it comes to random knowledge and how to do stuff I'm usually right. I try not to be a prick about it.

When it comes to my own memory I'm well aware that I completely forget stuff. I've sworn that I've not been to a particular place and been totally wrong. Actually a bit scary.

Mostly can predict bad stuff in my surroundings.

Yes, I'm like bloody Nostradamus.

Try to keep it to myself, unless I'm asked.

I know the usual reaction would be:

" You jinxed it"

" You had just a lucky guess"

" It happened because of your negativity about it"

When I used to mix with people, then I was the usual adviser how to avoid this things happening.

No ha I don't particularly like smugness.

Being right about something is obviously fine but being a dick about it isn't so much.

Not a smug prick because me being right usually results in more work for me and more hassle to rectify. I'm tired of hindsight when I work with so many lacking foresight.

Tired of being perceived negative for accurately assessing a situation. Experience is valuable and refusing to assess relevant info is costly.

I'm not often right but I do feel proud when I'm proves right about something but that's mostly down to lack of self belief...
