We prefer to wait until sometime close to Christmas.

Personally, I think that having them up too early would reduce their impact. By the time Christmas gets here they will be part of the normal surroundings that I would barely notice they're there.

Hell yes!! All the sparkly twinkly joy is up! Not to mention savouring smell of the freshly cut tree and a wafer thin excuse to bake sausage rolls, mince pies and make mulled wine on a school night because “it’s almost Christmas!”

We are going away on 10 Dec until Boxing Day so we won’t be putting decs up this year.

Kids are all here on 1 Dec for the weekend then not until the day after Boxing Day so we can pretend we’ve put them up and taken them down

I think 2 weeks in Thailand will make up for no decs this year
