I look at the pics first, then look how much text the profile has... Then if it's too long either walk away if the pics did nothing for me, or if they did then I read it.

If it's a short profile I'll give it a read regardless, curiosity really. Never know when something might win you over - but if that profile looks like too much effort to read if I'm not interested to begin with... Enjoy your life!

If it’s a long profile that could take 5-10 minutes reading then I’ll save myself some time and go back to the pictures, will then spend a good 20-30 minutes going through them, because why not??

Doesn't matter if they message or I go to the page. I'll always read the profile and look at the pictures. I'll often read it more than once just incase I've missed something. How else to you draft a meaningful message if you don't read the profile?

I read a profile if a comment made or status intrigues me. Then read carefully between the lines, like reading the small print, pics come last. I don't mind messages from anyone but is nice to receive them from compatible people, if the purpose of the message is about meets. If on the other hand is fab Thursday then fabs are based on pics and pics alone.
