If you’re into Cricket then you might like the Hilton Garden Inn at Old Trafford. Your balcony can open out right over the seating area for the cricket ground.

East Sussex

Ashdown Park in Sussex has some lovely views over Ashdown Forest and the gardens of the hotel. I wouldn't say they're breathtaking though.

Some of the seafront ones on the Kent coast have views over the channel.

Burley Manor in the New Forest has rooms that look over the grounds to the front with a deer herd in them.

North West.

Go to four and a half hours (from Soton) and you get to the South Lakes.

Many have views over amazing scenery.

You could stay in the hotel in the safari park. That would be pretty breath taking to wake up to.

This is true, also, the roaring of the big cats is one hell of a rumbling alarm clock.

Haweswater Hotel in the lakes. Glorious isolation with a vista painted by angels.

Sounds terrifying.

I was hoping for an isolated hotel, windows or balcony overlooking a quiet valley or sea no noisy road's or aircraft, pissed up people or bloody kids grrrr

North West.

The Low Wood or The Beech Hill, Windermere. Both far enough from Bowness to be undisturbed by the late opening bars. Both right on the lake.
