Anyone else up early?

I’ve skipped all the pomp and circumstance and literally set my alarm for just before race start time.

As much as I hate to admit it the Ferraris have looked good all weekend (but hoping for another Max win).

You missed absolutely nothing, Sky had circa 90 minutes of nothing! MB’s grid walk was ridiculous as is Kylie’s facelift

Charles clearly the fastest but will his motor last the distance? This year, history says no!

I just caught the MB grid walk - Kylie by far the most natural and accommodating.

Yes, the Ferraris aren’t reliable this year - but will the cooler temperatures help.

And stay off those drain covers.

Gutted for Lando.

Yet more thug like, horrible driving from Verstappen. Will probably get away with it, like he / Red Bull always do.

5 second penalty - but in that rocket of a Red Bull could be a moot point.

A 5 second penalty is literally no penalty to him. Standard race steward behaviour.

The number of times he throws the car up the inside with next to no control, forcing the other/s off the track is countless. But constantly gets away with it.

It’s almost every race weekend where “rules” are accommodated depending upon who did what!

Either you drive someone off or you didn’t!

Max clearly did, should have been made to give the place back and then take 5 seconds as punishment surely!

F1 has the biggest audience it’s ever had and a flexible set of rules that make no sense to casual viewers and infuriate us purests

Agreed, he’s almost single handily rewritten what’s acceptable as “hard driving” !

You can only hope and wait for another team to offer a car with similar performance to Red Bull otherwise it’s akin to MS back in the day which did nobody any favours!

Have you seen that the fans who were thrown out of the track for FP1 / FP2 have already brought a class action lawsuit against F1?

This weekend has nothing to do with racing. It’s all about the surrounding circus of events.

Just read that!

Classic America, if in doubt, litigate!

F1 is the same as a very expensive purchase, if you have to ask the price, then it’s probably not for you

I didn’t ask the price?

Having worked on A few new and existing circuits I may have kicked a few tyres in my time!

The Side of the Mersey

Better race than I expected so far. Low grip has made it a bit interesting.

I (male) am up to watch it but the whole weekend has been quite rubbish. It is all just show. The race isn’t too brilliant.

It’s back to LEC vs. VER with 13 laps to gaps.

It’s all down to the tyres now.

All the US races are about the show (similar to the Indy 500). But Vegas are taking it to another level.
