As a single bloke, I like to mingle when attending a club. The prerequisite is not to expect anything to happen and just go with the flow, whether playing happens or not. I have however noticed that a proportion of (primarily single guys) wandering the corridors in towels waiting to pounce, I believe these are called the "walking wanker" I am a bit unnerved by these, what is everyone's thoughts? I do not want to be one of them.

Yep.

And one of a few reasons I won’t go to a club on my own. I don’t want to be seen as one of them guys.

I’ve not been to a club yet but I assume it’s quite easy not to become a “wanking dead” if you don’t want to be one.

We can't stand the wanking dead and they're one reason we don't go to dress down clubs.

Just being a single guy at a club doesn't make you a wanking dead.

I've met some awesome single men at clubs who've talked to me like an actual person and had some fun.

The cretins that just follow women around with their dicks in their hands are a different breed, and much less pleasant to have around.

It's a shame, how the few can spoil it for the many. I must say I was very disappointed. But on the upside I did get to chat with a few good people.

Thankfully at certain clubs, men are not allowed to follow or crowd ladies/couples, nor are they allowed entry as a group of more than two. At such clubs most single men are very respectful and we've played with quite a few on our club visits.

Men pay massive amounts more than women and couples so you can walk round wanking if you want.

Exactly… I attended a tv/trans club called sweet weds many moons ago.. I got lots of fun because I acted the exact opposite to the wanking dead .. I spent time talking to people and not following,, simples … so guys don’t knock the WD .. use them to stand out as normal…what ever normal is in this world ..

We tend to only go to clubs on couples/single ladies only nights or to nights where the club only allows in a set number of single men.

It's probably easily avoided. Don't walk around in a towel, wanking. Wear shorts or boxers and keep your hands out of your keks when mooching round the club?

Each club has a social area - if I was going to a club by myself I’d stay in that area or the hot tub - I’d be friendly and chat to people and either people might ask you to join them or might come back for you.

I wouldn’t walk around and I wouldn’t stand and watch unless invited to.

Guys who follow you around or walk around wanking aren’t the type of type of people we’d look for. Someone being sociable would work much better!

Lots of people have questionable behaviour in clubs, and while some guys do deserve the ‘wanking dead’ moniker, most solo guys are just wandering around looking for someone to chat with.

But most people avoid them, because they’re a guy on his own, so he must be one of those ‘wanking dead’ geezers, so let’s just ignore him….

So the solo guy continues wandering around, hoping he can get some conversation going with someone, but nobody seems interested, so on he wanders…..

And so it continues…..

But “everyone in clubs is always friendly”, that’s what they all say, right? Not so….

And so the cycle continues….

It's really easy not to be confused with them - just don't don't do what they do.

I very clearly notice single men who are a pleasure to have around in clubs. They are friendly, flirty, cheeky and don't get their hands superglued to their cocks. They stand out

We need single men in clubs and they are liked and respected, as they do the same for us.

I have found people in the most part, friendly and I do stick to the social areas, as I want to make a small connection, it makes the play more fun in my opinion. However, on occasion, I get totally ignored, even in my fireman's hot pants! which can be down heartening. But onwards and upwards eh?

I'm obviously not talking about the guys who actually try to engage . I'm talking about men that follow you just waiting to get playing and there they're swiftly removing their towel tugging away 3 inches from your face.

Not many are like this though on my experience.

North East Scotland, mostly

We had this experience on Friday. We've been to the same club before and had a great time. This was a greedy girls night and the atmosphere was completely different! I always wear a collar to a club and Mr has my leash. It's a great conversation starter and it's liberating to wear it outside of the house. A guy commented on it and I asked him what he wanted to know, so far so good. He responded "dunno" then sat next to me and put his hand on my leg. Um, no. We ended up retreating to a private room as the atmosphere in the public play areas was making me uncomfortable. And I consider myself an exhibitionist!

chat to people in the social areas, i know its difficult because a lot of the women and couples are sat in groups of people they already know but it does help

We have no issues with single men in clubs we have found most of them to be very friendly and outgoing.

The wanking dead are the ones that follow you around staring with their cock in their hand mostly outside the play areas and making no attempt to start a conversation with you.

If your polite and make a effort in the social areas of the club to interact then you definitely won’t be classed as a wanking dead .

On bi nights the guys are generally less likely to be part of the wanking dead. I generally find they’ll want to chat with you before any fun is initiated.

Party nights can be more in your face with whipping off towels and offering you ‘the goods’ it’s not always that impressive either.

The head of English at my school taught us something useful which I have never forgotten. 'Oneself is never wrong'.

It is a shame that that this phenomenon is not always realised on this site. It could explain a lot of behaviour!
