"Just being a single guy at a club doesn't make you a wanking dead. I've met some awesome single men at clubs who've talked to me like an actual person and had some fun. The cretins that just follow women around with their dicks in their hands are a different breed, and much less pleasant to have around." That's a relief, At least I will be better thought of in the long run

"The army of the Wanking Dead are one of the reasons we don't really enjoy clubs LvM" It's a shame, how the few can spoil it for the many. I must say I was very disappointed. But on the upside I did get to chat with a few good people.

"I have no choice but to go alone, it's the only way to meet people in the same mind set. But I can safely say I'm not one of them. " Men pay massive amounts more than women and couples so you can walk round wanking if you want.

"As a single bloke, I like to mingle when attending a club. The prerequisite is not to expect anything to happen and just go with the flow, whether playing happens or not. I have however noticed that a proportion of (primarily single guys) wandering the corridors in towels waiting to pounce, I believe these are called the "walking wanker" I am a bit unnerved by these, what is everyone's thoughts? I do not want to be one of them." Just don’t get bitten by one and you shouldn’t turn

"They make polite respectful guys look better." Exactly… I attended a tv/trans club called sweet weds many moons ago.. I got lots of fun because I acted the exact opposite to the wanking dead .. I spent time talking to people and not following,, simples … so guys don’t knock the WD .. use them to stand out as normal…what ever normal is in this world ..

Lots of people have questionable behaviour in clubs, and while some guys do deserve the ‘wanking dead’ moniker, most solo guys are just wandering around looking for someone to chat with. But most people avoid them, because they’re a guy on his own, so he must be one of those ‘wanking dead’ geezers, so let’s just ignore him…. So the solo guy continues wandering around, hoping he can get some conversation going with someone, but nobody seems interested, so on he wanders….. And so it continues….. But “everyone in clubs is always friendly”, that’s what they all say, right? Not so…. And so the cycle continues….

" I have found people in the most part, friendly and I do stick to the social areas, as I want to make a small connection, it makes the play more fun in my opinion. However, on occasion, I get totally ignored, even in my fireman's hot pants! which can be down heartening. But onwards and upwards eh?

"They don't bother me I just ignore them or if they become a pain I give a swift fuck off. If you don't act like them then I wouldn't worry. They're known as the wanking dead. " I'm obviously not talking about the guys who actually try to engage . I'm talking about men that follow you just waiting to get playing and there they're swiftly removing their towel tugging away 3 inches from your face. Not many are like this though on my experience.

"Why don’t they try and talk with couples or ladies in the bar. It’s not easy but have a go. " Talk to them instead. Start an conversation with them using that opener made famous by royalty: "Have you come far?"

"We have no issues with single men in clubs we have found most of them to be very friendly and outgoing. The wanking dead are the ones that follow you around staring with their cock in their hand mostly outside the play areas and making no attempt to start a conversation with you. If your polite and make a effort in the social areas of the club to interact then you definitely won’t be classed as a wanking dead ." more a wanker with a personality

"Never been to a club, didn't know this was a thing. Sounds like some blokes are weird as fuck" The head of English at my school taught us something useful which I have never forgotten. 'Oneself is never wrong'. It is a shame that that this phenomenon is not always realised on this site. It could explain a lot of behaviour!
