More seriously, if engagement is lessening eg messages less interesting or frequent, become vague about details, physically a little detached or keep a little distant where they didn’t before etc. it’s not one thing it’s a pattern of little things.

Oh yes. However emphasis needs to be made about over a period of time. Sometimes a quick short reply is all that's needed or can be done at the time.

Those that know me I can say lots, and then sometimes say very little. More often than not though I bounce back and bite them with paragraphs once again.

The only thing I would add is there geographical location can make a difference. Everyone lives busy lives away from here, so I don't expect daily updates on how they're getting on, if we're unlikely to meet straight away. Generally I'm happy with a few short messages a week and then contact becomes more regular closer to meeting.

Depends what you mean, if its just messages then the frequency may not mean much.

There's people here we message and they can be weeks or months apart but still interested in them.

Distance can be a problem and if we are both going to the same club then rekindling a conversation to arrange to meet is good.

Regular face to face people, it's pretty obvious if they duck meets but then have veris posted from the same place you would have gone to.

That's premium shithouse behaviour, delete and block.
