The land of grey peas and bacon

With an iPad I use it for the Internet but actually have no idea what else you can do with it!!

watch videos bought from iTunes or ripped onto iTunes then synced with the iPad

Same with music

Watch TV with Tv catchup, iPlayer, 4OD, Sky Go

Read books with a kindle or iBooks app (although not in sunlight!)

Read newspapers (although the times latest update bricked the app)

Kids play games

I am getting to the stage where I don't use a TV aerial anymore, I just have TV Catchup streaming to the TV via a Apple TV box

Use it as a remote for your macs iTunes mirror to your Apple TV all the catch up apps are great for that

Mine is a work one. So I actually work on mine

Good for presentations - much better to carry around than a heavy old laptop.

Derby/Notts(Long Eaton)

I use it to fly a drone helicopter for work which has a forward and downward facing camera on board which can be viewed whilst in flight....... I use it to view operational maps and documentation files.......take photographs and plan access to sites using google maps....I can name the stars and planets by pointing up in the sky....I can play a multi programmable musical keyboard( pity I can't play well) ....but best of all Fab on it

Im getting one of the brand new tablets, i was adviced to stay away from apple ipads and go for either samsung or nexus

Im going to get someone to come round and show me how to work it properly.

Dont want one if all i can do is use the forums on it lol.

Ive had my phone two years and still i have no idea how to send or recieve pictures on it lol

Use it to control my home automation ie lights on and off, tv, sky, music, know what electric water gas is being used the list is endless

Start by Jailbreaking it - it's really easy to do, loads of tutorials on google. Then get more free apps, better software and use it in ways apple generally doesn't want you to
