"I feel so drained today, the day is gloomy because of the weather, there's not much good natural light. I've been really productive though. But I feel drained, tired and just want to get into the fresh sheets I've just put on my bed. Anyone else feeling the same??" Yes, so much so I could almost have written this. Same for yesterday too. Fancy a nap? Xx

"Yes but it's not unusual. I am always ready to collapse from exhaustion pretty much every hour of every day. I do love my early bedtime though. My partner is always upset I'm ready for bed at 9ish but I neeeeeed my sleep. I have no energy. " I feel you on those last two sentences. My wife likes to be up until midnight-ish quite often, but I’m done by 10:30.

"I had a 21 hour day yesterday, having been woken up very early by rain and then having to drive a 340 mile round trip for work (with work in between each half). So, yeah….I’m ready for bed. " I feel like I shouldn't say anything about being tired up against that though. That's a bloody long day.

"I was kind of feeling that way until the sun came out. Then I had to entertain people and go for a walk, which definitely lifted the mood. But I reckon I'll be in bed in the next hour or so, it's cold!" The sun boosts serotonin in your brain, and that can give you more energy and help keep you calm, positive, and focused. I think thats why some people are so grumpy in winter and in sunny countries people are always happier.
