I thought it was just me that is terrible at flirting, I'm 54 and I've dated 2 women, if a girl was flirting with me, I couldn't tell, even if she was to fall over in front of me, legs spread and said to me take me, I want you so much, I would still think she didn't like me.

I'd hazard a guess that many bi women are only bi when their partner is present. Not all by any means but enough to make it difficult for women to meet women alone.

I'd also guess that women will hesitate to meet a man alone because they're very, very wary.

With women it can be harder to tell what's flirting and what's friendliness - girls generally are more open with other girls whether there's attraction or not.

With guys you can kinda tell.

Also this, as a woman I need to feel safe, I wouldn't have a hope of defending myself if anything happened. Men on men are pretty equal in that situation.

I did agree by saying yes and no to this.

1) For women there is the added level of vulnerability (what happens if I get attacked or get pregnant). For men this is not or less of a perceived problem.

2) The numbers have plays a part women can be more selective. Done been get desperate with the lack of women.

3) none the less not everyone one the motto 'any hole is a goal'. Or 'any dick does the trick'. Showing from my perspective there are some people I turned down simply because I am not sexually attracted to them. Even if I have enjoyed the conversation.

I (Luke) think that's got a lot to do with it. Hannah would meet women alone (and I would have no part in it) but she doesn't feel comfortable making the move. She grown up not having to do that so it feels really alien to her. It would be great if a woman chatted her up but it hasn't happened for a long time.

Given a lot of women don't feel comfortable flirting, maybe I should set Hannah up with a lady. I can kind of encourage the two of them from the sidelines and facilitate communication and then step back when they have realised they are both into each other.

I'm guessing even if a lady wanted this she'd be worried it was a play for me to end up watching or joining in, which it absolutely wouldn't be.

I agree I think there is an element of this.

So many threads are started by bi women who really want to meet other bi ladies on their own and they don't really get off the ground.

There seems to be a Bi curious women in so many couples and I've seen some say they do it to please their men and wouldn't meet a woman without him.

As you say, it's not all couples though.
