A gym I frequent in southern Malaysia is 24 hours, occasionally I’m working out early hours. Few weeks ago at 4am, gym was dead, just me for a while then three Indian lads arrived, in their 20’s.

After a few mins one of them asks if I mind they change the music playing, I don’t care, next thing I’m listening to Westlife; no drama as one of my daughters was a fan in the day and I’m surprised at how may of the songs I know!

Next thing, I glanced over and here’s all three Indian guys singing in harmony to Westlife, I thought it was a fever dream; but no, here they are at 4am singing away!

It turns out there’s actually four of them and they’re a tribute act all over Southern Asia; they spent their entire workout (and mine) practicing for a gig that night and they presented me with tickets as a “thank you” before I left to start my day!

As random as it reads believe me

People think they are uncool if they like then. They have been my soul for 20 years and I love them. I also have a Westlife tattoo and their concert is my favourite event of the year
