Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

Is it one of those folding bikes you need for this?

Are you after bike packing advice, or a bikepacking fwb?

Think fb might be a better place

Liverpool

I go hiking and wild camping, I also have a much underused mountain bike but as yet I have never been bike packing, I haven't got panniers or any bike bags.

From what I can workout, it's similar to hiking but you travel greater distance, you can carry more kit, but your more restricted to the type or pathways suitable.

Ow and obviously roads ain't a problem to bikes, I really dislike it when a hiking route takes you onto a road

Near Abercynon

Only in the armchair sense. I'm a biker and a fatty, so I do my adventures on motorbikes, but I've got top respect for Bikepackers.

I've been an avid dot-watcher on the Transcontinental Race for years and a good proportion of my kindle books are by round the world cyclists.

I rode my (push)bike to "Look Mum No Hands" in London to hear a talk by Emily Chappel a while back too.
