You’d think a community that accepts and engages in a bunch of different kinks (wife sharing, swinging, cuck scenarios to name a few) and are often shamed by the wider public for engaging in said kink, would be more accepting of others kinks, even if those kinks weren’t for them

I must qualify this - the term is invariably bandied about in terms that make it clear it's just assumed and imposed. No discussion, just a statement of what's going to be done to me. If two consenting participants discuss it, and decide that's what they want to do, I have no issue with their choice. It's the way in which the term is almost invariably employed to me that I don't like.

I'm mostly with you on that, however the consequences part is more fantasy than actual intent. The breeding part is more related to being just another way of saying bareback and not pulling out. Actual impregnation is only a very niche minority section of the kink. Because of the wording it makes it seem much more... shocking that it actually is. Whoever enjoys the former, crack on if that is what you like, not for me though. If you are the niche minority of the latter, then I won't tread carefully with my words or try to walk on eggshells in case of kink shaming since the whole thing goes beyond just a kink between consenting people.

The word itself is just not a nice word in general though. Even as somebody that can do well to separate different meanings associated with the same word, it's still not a nice word to see used in terms of sex.

I felt this when i read it before AND phrases such as 'not for me' , 'each to their own' , 'as long as you like it' are not exactly responses that show the utter repugnance people feel at certain acts or words. I'm not saying that makes anyone right or wrong but if responses are asked for precise language is the way to do it.

Not superfluous passive phrases that achieve no understanding.

I don't need appeasing - strange thought. You could change it to any scenario - bottom line is you could do with following your own dictums and leaving 'Each to their own' .. Opinions were asked for and given AND it is not 'shaming' or 'meanmouthing' or anything elseing for someone to express their discomfort in the thought of some acts.. they are not insulting any person. If a person who practises breeding wants to be hurt/insulted/outraged that others don't like it perhaps they might like to look inside themselves for those reasons.

e.g. I love a good snog. If you say snogging is vile and disgusting it isn't going to offend or outrage me because I am confident that it is within my life values that snogging is great and hurts no one or denigrate any group or gender.

Thinking that some random person actually wants to have a baby with you because they like the word is ridiculous. Yes, they are probably the odd exceptions, as in all walks of life. For a long while, the term triggered me in a very harsh way. Same as "milf", "mum tum" and being called "mummy" etc. Not in everyday use, but when I'd get messages referring to these things and myself. Because I don't have kids, can't have kids, contraception is kinda useless to me (from that standpoint) because if I did get pregnant I'd lose it anyway so no baby/child. And that hurts... hence triggered.

I guess I should be grateful to fab for numbing me to it really. Still irks me,partly because I know that I'm not the only person to have that issue and many women are still in the "triggering" stage, but I don't get so affected by the terms now (I also don't usually read messages so that makes it easier).

Breeding isn't actually the idea behind the word in this scenario though... it just means having unprotected sex and not pulling out. Hence why it's used not just between a man and a woman but, and I think I'm right in saying, often used between two men. The change of meaning of the word irritates me, along with people referring to their anus as a "pussy" and other terms meaning that, but that's another issue.

Whether I'm classy or not (y'all can decide that if you want), actually I do often feel the urge for a lover to spaff his man gravy up inside my love chute. Just because I feel the urge, though, doesn't mean I'll do it... that is something that only happens after much time and much conversation and deep trust.

I don't see why people giving an opinion on an act is classed by some as "kink shaming"... unless they're actively saying people who do it are wrong, or dirty, or whatever. If my view is that the thought of an act makes me feel sick, or creeps me out, that's my view. It doesn't mean I think it's shameful. Some of my favourite people enjoy piss play.
