Last night we had our first attempt at wax play.

It was thoroughly enjoyable, and extremely sensual.

I know that different things please different folk. So it's not for everyone.

But. Does anyone else like to do it? Or is curious about it?

I enjoy doing wax, got a friend teaching me how to draw with wax.

I find having some smooth jazz on in the back ground helps set a mood and becomes relaxing

We used a king size duvet cover, the thing that takes the longest is getting the wax off. But T found that very sensual, so even that was pleasurable

I would never use any sugar based product. Sugar keeps cooking even when taken off of a heat source. And can clump.. too risky in my opinion

Lots to plan, from providing the correct temp candles (soy or paraffin), safe space to work, fire emergency protocols, first aid kit, clean up, etc.

You can get some decent 200 cm x 200 cm shower curtains, and place those down on the surface the recipient will be on. This will make clean up easier.

Yep I'm a fan, especially of the uv soy wax, got some superb pics with a black light from that, as said above we use a basic shower curtain and throw it away. A light covering of baby oil makes sure that wax doesn't adhere to hairy people. The most important thing safety wise I have, is a bucket of cold water so I can drop the candle in it if I need to let it go, I also have wet hair when creating art. Wax pours are fun as well as individual candles, but I tend to make my own as they can be costly to buy

I know if you use oil cloth which you can get by the meter in Dunelm, if you crumple it it falls off into a box if you funnel it correctly. Find the material a bit thicker than a shower curtain and doesn't stick to sweat so easily.

I loved it. Laying on my belly as hot wax is dropped or poured over my back and arse ..... I have to say, my mind went somewhere else when I did it. It was amazing.

Yes clean up was a pain but I had a sheet underneath me to catch the wax and he got to feel me up when taking it off. So yes. I really really enjoyed it

Excellent advice.

I'd also advise any first timers considering playing with wax, please research this niche carefully. You can seriously hurt someone / burn your house down if you jump in without fully understanding the science and safety protocols behind it.

Regular house candles can burn at 88C or even higher and that temp will injure skin badly.

Aim for Soy Wax / Paraffin candles, which burn around the 55-60C mark or so.

Buy wax candles from reputable wax play sellers and specialists, who know their craft and trade and intended use. Watch plenty of vids to get a feel for the advice out there.

We have tried this and have had a lot of fun.

Learnt a few lessons along the way- for example cover the area you are using, we got wax stuck in the carpet.

Don’t used scented candles they burn very hot, use standard wax candles.

We used the wax in various ways but our favourite was when the wife’s sat on top of me and she then drips wax onto my nipples and our pubic areas.

One of the horniest things that stick in my mind with wax is when she was sat astride me and at the point of coming, she dripped hot wax onto her boobs and nipples - she was in total control of what was going on and it was a lovely sight watching her climax in this way.

You can buy hot wax massage candles . They burn at a slightly lower temperature but the effect is much the same . Once on the skin it becomes much like massage oil …. Bliss !!

Only tried it once. First few drips of wax on my pussy were not enjoyable but I quickly got into it

The clean up wasn't too bad: there were drops of wax everywhere but it didn't stick the way normal melted wax did so super easy to vaccum away

We use an old shower curtain to lie on whilst playing with wax .peeling off with a blade can be fun also gentle flogging all the wax falls onto the curtain ready to be tipped in the bin .

I love it!! Do it lots.

Tips on clean up:

If you put a thin layer of baby oil on the skin it stops the wax binding to you and so you can scrape it off.

Modelling clay tools make amazing skin safe scrapers to get it off in chunks.

Bottom sheet over your bedding, scrape onto sheets, off it pops.

Massage oil to get last flakes off, also lovely aftercare.

Make sure you're using soy wax, paraffin is a bitch and more painful!

Do NOT use a towel you'll never get it out. Ever.
