Someone just told me they’ve just had a roast (food version ) …

I’m in shock …. Does everyone not have theirs on Sundays?

Tell me below … when do you have yours?

Whenever we fancy one, it's definitely not limited to Sundays

Somewhere

I don't unless I'm going to the pub for food. Zero point cooking a roast dinner for one.

A roast chicken is reasonable on any night. Belly pork too. Roast lamb or beef, or a loin of pork, is strictly for Sunday.

Any deviation from this is illicit. An occasional indulgence in such unnatural practices can be a delicious kink. Do it regularly and British civilisation falls.

I rarely have a roast dinner but if I had to endure one it better only be because it is the Sunday tradition of the people that I am with who want one.

I know a few people who will have one any day but if going out they tend to be fine with selecting a restaurant that serves other things.

If everyone only ever ate roast dinners on Sundays, Toby Carverys wouldn't be a viable business

Rarely do a roast at home as I eat well in the week and snack at weekends. The occasional carvery roast if I'm out.

Christmas dinner…. It is very much different to a roast dinner …. I do not have sprouts on a roast I do on Xmas dinner…. I do not have pigs in blankets on roast but I do on Christmas dinner…. Similar but not the same …can’t compare
