want to take my kids away for Easter and really fancy a log cabin, somewhere where there's plenty to do to entertain and tire them out so mummy can enjoy the evening too... suggestions please xx

I am sure there is a place, like a holiday camp, under a dome that has wood cabins but I cannot remember what its called, someone at work went about 2 years ago

Had some fantastic holidays at a Hoseasons site in St Ives. Log cabin in the middle of woods, golf course, kids play area and good kids club for evening. Kids totally loved it.

In Your Bush

I know they have them near Swannage but that's probably a bit far for you

Forest Holidays?

Christchurch is a nice site when I went camping there last October.

I went to check out the log cabins and they looked nice, however, I since discovered they are not exactly cheap to rent!

My boys and i had great time at fforest camp in cardigan .... stayed in tipi with wood burning stove (they do more luxurious domes and lodges too) .... plenty of activities for kids nearby from whittling wood to kayaking. Great little pub on the site and all Eco friendly .... highly recommended
