A cat called Lincoln who may have been named after the famous US President has been after three years of visiting his local Tesco store in Hornsea which is on the Yorkshire coast. Why wait three years. They quote Health and Safety reasons. What's going on here. It's all over the news

BRIDGWATER

We have a local cat who goes in a lot of shops in the high street. He has a Facebook page and was pictured asleep in among the packets of crisps. Although it's lovely to see his antics, a cat should not be allowed in a food shop. So I would say Tesco are correct in banning "Lincoln" from their store.

Maybe Lincoln was named after the city 63 miles from Hornsea

Never heard of cats rights? I'm sure the cat will now identify as a dog and sue Tesco's for all the cat food it can eat.

Whoever let the dogs out, can breathe a huge sigh of relief, but I'm truly shocked you let the cat out of the bag op.

If the cat identifies as a dog, wouldn't it eat dog food ?

My local Home Bargains had a cat. It was like a store welcome host. Sometimes it would be at the entrance, other times at the exit. Just chilling.

Then it died.

Sad times

Only if it was being investigated for disability fraud.
