"With Simply Yours, are they just wider foot bit, or wide calf too? I don't want a draught down my leg, the aim is too be close fitting on my legs so I'm airtight ![]() *TO be. What a dreadful proofreading oversight ![]()

"Also, Simply Be have various calf widths, so the normal would be fine I would think." I have a pair of simply be boots with a normal calf width, would say they're slightly wider than normal but not much. Enough that I can wear them over jeans.

"Hi Mrs KC, You might want to look at thermal riding boots, which probably does everything you want. The trick is finding a pair that is formal enough. HTH GF" The thought has crossed my mind. My long yard boots are a) brown and b) not suitable style wise for work. Today, I wore my black classic Dr Martens with Heat Holders socks folded down. With a dress. Trendy ![]()

"Fat face? Rude ![]() It wasn't rude! It's the name of a brand of shoes and clothing. I made a silly joke before thanking the person who suggested it. At least, I hope it was taken as me joking (because I was) ![]()

"I bought boots!! Had to basically remortgage but only two pairs in the entire Trafford Centre fit/were suitable. I am now the proud owner of calf length black Dr Martens, which I can lace/unlace as much as needed to accommodate my stupid foot. I was hoping not to spend so much though. A few pairs I tried fit my right (ok) foot, but not my left ![]() ![]()

"To keep your feet warm whether you're wearing leather boots or rubber wellies. Real sheepskin or alpaca insoles...not the shitty synthetic ones, must be real. 60% or more wool or alpaca socks with either high % cotton or bamboo socks underneath. I spend hours out in my field up to my neck in mud wearing this set up with rubber unlined wellies and never get cold feet ![]() I have cold feet due to Raynaud's and nerve damage. And re: the Heat Holders to the person above this comment, the ones I have are definitely genuine. Purchased from the men's section at Sainsbury's in Heat Holders packaging.
