Just watched a clip from Slap Happy Lion and I was in tears

And after watching a few other reels on instagram, I’m left asking why have they cut so much humour from cartoons?

Because 90% of older style humour would not be considered politically correct today and people would be offended by a cartoon cat chasing a cartoon mouse.

Exactly, Tom and Jerry running about with a hammer would possibly account for some 5 Yr old battering his Mum in Florida!
