How do people feel about this?

I just received a msg that was very obviously not his own words, when I asked he said he was a writer! Further investigation showed that his profile text was indeed created by the chat gpt thing.

I feel kind of duped! The conversation didn't then match the calibre of the bio or first msg.

I think it's misleading... What think you?

Inevitable I guess. I use it for work quite a bit, not so much for a complete document, but to give me a a nicely structured scaffold to then hang my own words on.

Seems a bit impersonal to use it for one2one communication.

I had suspicions about certain posts being generated by chatgpt so I asked it to write using certain keywords. Lo and behold there was a match. The exact same opening.

I really need to up my game.

This reminds me of when everyone was using those cheat codes for the Dizzy games on the spectrum 128k and I just thought I was shit.

I cried a lot that summer.
