Company car or salary sacrifice?

What would people suggest?

Considering most are electic vehicles what make / model would you recommend.

Obviously other option is to buy a new or used vehicle but that not really a viable option at the moment...

Electric stuff is a bit pish,

Stuff like a Porsche Panamera or Tesla is cool but they are restricted in range and have no noise.

A Bmw x5 45e hybrid is a good compromise. Sounds great, drives great, gets good tax relief only drawback is a sub 50 mile electric only range

My neighbour has a teslar company car but had to pay for the charging point to be installed. Not sure how much that would cost

You do it’s just very low compared with other cars it was 0% back in 2020/21 I think

If you are looking at electric.. go for a company car. The BIK is really low on it and also when the batteries start to twindle the cost isn't on you.

In most instances I'd say for a company car as its alot less risk, no insurance to pay, no maintenance and also if your own car breaksdown then it would be up to you to sort a hire car, with a company car it would he on them.

I guess the only factor would be how many miles you do a year? I average 30k... so for me a company car is a no brainer
