Would people still like you if they knew what you are really thinking? Not so much about them, but in general.

Those little thoughts that pop up randomly, your thought process. The parts nobody knows about, hears about, or sees.

Yeah I think they would. I'm usually an open book with people and ain't hiding any true feeling etc. In saying that, we all have the odd dark though that pops in for a minute, but a minute later and it's gone

My head voice/narrator never shuts the fuck up! People would not want to know me because they would be fed up of the incessant nonsense and the random tangents.

I like to think this is what everyone's head is like.

However, I would like to know if a woman's mind is constantly debating with itself whether they'd shag every stranger that passes them by.

Mine doesn't do that all the time but it does sometimes seem to go along that track. Maybe that's a hormonal thing! It does like to pop up with a "Cor, fit!" occasionally.

When it is on that track it goes "Nope, nope, nope, nope, hell no, nope, maybe..., nope, nope"

Interesting how some people instantly go to the being pleasant, kind, good to others route.

The inside of my head is a wonderful place, filled with concepts and characters and plots and wonderful, wonderful imagery. I would spend all my days in there if I could, and take little notice of the real world, apart from the occasional foray down the ‘cor fit’ road whenever I chance upon someone gorgeous.

Phew! I'm glad I'm not the only one. My mind doesn't rest. It's like Jim from the Vicor of Dibley.

No, they'd run away as my mind is always noisey.

My internal monologue just keeps going. All. The. Time

Did you know there are people who can just shush their brains? Just no thoughts?

Mr can do that, I have no idea how.

They were too busy arranging tablescaping classes online and ensuring they were fully up to speed with reality television. News, events, history, opinions? Nah, that, like, would be, like, thinking... Essentially, they were looking for someone to drive them around, be seen to be normal with, and to co-ordinate with their soft furnishings.

I finished my coffee, left politely and went to an art gallery to recharge my sense of wonder and joy.

Normal is overrated. And impossible to define.

I'm getting better at owning the wild carousel that is the inside of my head at times. And I often find that if I let some of it out, other people go "Oh, me too!"

So some people will like me more, I reckon. Others won't, but that's fine, cos I didn't like them anyway, the desperate ugly munters.

Erm…. Once they’d sat in a quiet, dark place to recover, perhaps.

My brain & inner voice never shut up. It’s exhausting in my head.
