Those of you who are regularly clad in nocturnal garb, for bedtime. How in the feck do you sleep comfortably?! I'm usually a 100% nekkid nocturnal creature, all year round. However, current health challenges mean I'm bloody freezing all the time and so I'm currently sporting PJs, Heat Holders socks and a hoodie. Plus a tablet lodged in my throat

Every tiny movement ties me in knots! My pyjama leg gets rolled up on one side and my sock wants to do the twist! The hoodie is trying to hoodwink me and I just want to be freeeeeeeeee!

Bedtime clothing sucks

I booked again. They refuse to remove the coil as I'm bleeding.....go figure.

Lost my confidence so trying to rebuild to go again. But have wrote to local MP about treatment of me by the surgery.

I'm very conscious that I cone across selfish. But I've spent a very long time helping and supporting others, and saying there's people worse than me...but in doing this I've neglected my own health so I'm choosing to be selfish

I am a naked sleeper as well but on the rare occasions I feel that I have to wear something for bed, I find that leggings and a stretchy long sleeved top are best as they don’t twist around as much

If I have to wear something for bed which is rare it's a fitted vest and shorts I can't have long pjs in for the same reasons as you.

Could you maybe put an extra throw over the bed or an electric blanket instead?

Mr KC (usually the colder blooded of we two) would be cooking in his own juices. He was sleeping in the nude while I was enrobed in all the clothing. I survived the night. It was horrible taking it all off for a shower though, absolutely bloody freezing!!! The Heat Holders tights and more thick socks, knitted dress etc are on for me to WFH. The house is allegedly at 19°C by the way, so hardly cold. It's just that my body hasn't got a clue what's what right now

I have to wake myself up to manually move my left leg to change position, adding clothes into the mix just makes that x10 worse! I woke up with the PJ bottoms twisted around so that I had a wedgie and the hoodie hood was over my head

Not heated ones, no. I have a blanket on the sofa and for when I'm WFH though. Just an ordinary one.

Blankets everywhere here.. the dogs still rob them all!! Heated ones defo add an extra something!! They’ve helped a lot for me when I’m sat for hours.

I'm sat on the sofa, in my clothes (3 layers) incl. tights, super thick socks and am bundled in a blanket. I need to go to bed but I don't want to get up or remove any garments!! The house is at 18.5°C, allegedly

Naked. Like the OP I can't stand the feeling of being constrained while trying to get comfy and sleep.

On the odd occasion, if I'm poorly or it's just really cold I might wear a T-shirt and sometimes even socks, but I still leave everything else out.

I really don't like wearing anything in bed but I also hate waking up cold.

I'm currently sleeping in a strappy vest +3/4 loose leggings.. But i have 3 quilts, 3 throws, a weighted blanket and a fur throw

.. Oh and a sherpa fleece underblanket and an electric underblanket

I have a usb fan for when i wake up in the middle of the night mafting

that's funny!!....had similar experiences....solved our problems by going from our 4.5 tog to a 10.5 tog duvet by snuggledown .....perfect!!!....back to sleeping in just my trunks....lovely....freedom!!!!

I’m a naked sleeper too, even when staying with family or friends they all know to knock beforehand :D

Recent health has had me feeling colder too so I’ve doubled up my duvet that way I can kick it off if it gets too hot

Yes, needed to fight off the chilly nights...so changed the 4.5 tog duvet to a 10.5 tog. Now I just sleep warm and comfortably with just my boxers on. couldn't possibly consider wearing PJ's and especially not socks either...yuck

I wear all of those always and a hot water bottle. I've never noticed restricted movements particularly but then nowdays I share my space with a bedhogger toddler! I guess it's something that you get used to over time.

Do you have a partner that’s hot like a furnace? That’s the only way I survive at night in the winter.

I dislike nightwear in bed for the same reasons you’ve mentioned.

I could not sleep in hoodies or long thick pants. I like just an oversized tee. Could you not pile on more blankets instead? A few fleecey throws underneath the duvet always warms me up nicely if I'm feeling the cold. And big thick socks. Maybe get a few hot water bottles too?

I'm back to sleeping nekkid, apart from the occasional deployment of thermal socks for my Raynaud's. My menopause jab is wearing off/has worn off and so I've been plagued with hot flushes and night sweats for the past few weeks. I sit on the sofa, shivering in full outdoor clothing with a blanket on, but then at about 21:00, the hot flushes start and then I'm hot and cold in rapid succession. Very frustrating, but at least I don't have to wrap myself up in jumpers in bed

For the record, Mr KC is VERY hot but even with his immense heat, I was freezing cold
