Search distance

What do people consider a reasonable search distance on here? On one hand limiting it to 30 miles like I do now you do limit your choice. On the other hand, having greater choice, coupled with the extremely low chance of ever getting a reply on here, would it just be a waste of time?

I travel and stay in hotels a lot so often search a radius of where I’m going

It depends on where you are and the travelling conditions. I usually focus on 20 miles. I've typically found a huge drop off in chats that ever lead to a meet, over this distance, with more of the more distant guys looking for phone sex instead. Some 30 mile trips from me are a pleasure, whilst others I'd not wish on others

200 miles. If they're closer than that, chances are we won't meet.

There is always an exception that proves the rule though.

Haven't used the search function for years but when I did if the radius was more than 50 miles the vast majority of profiles that showed up were in Scotland or the North of England.

Same for me too. Plus if you don’t want one offs the distance thing does become an issue, I’ve been there and it’s frustrating

I don't generally travel... But a couple of people that I've met regularly have been 60/80 miles away. They frequented the area though and were happy to drive. I think you have to be willing to make a day/night of it if it's more than 30 miles.

We met a guy in a club in Blackpool - he lived in Anglesey, we lived near Cleethorpes so pretty the other side of the country. We’d meet maybe once a month/6 weeks and spend the weekend together at either house.

If it works and the connection is there we’ll travel for the right people.

I move around the uk every couple of months or so, so it doesn't overly matter to me how far away someone is. That being said, I have a search radius atm of 30 miles because I'm yet to get a social or verification on this profile and it would be easier to meet up with someone local.
