Somewhere In The Ether…

I was walking my pooch earlier in my local woods and came across a pair of discarded joggers by the path (for clarification purposes, I imply joggers as in the casual trouser kind - not some deceased recreational runners).

Any way; this got me thinking (I do this from time to time): How in the hell can a person manage to lose their joggers?!

I mean, surely you’d notice if they fell down?!

Good folks: What weird things have you found whilst on your travels? Have you ever similarly pondered over the story behind how they came to be there in the first place?

Definitely - like, did they get left on the car roof and fell off at different points? Did someone have an argument and throw a shoe at the driver and it went out the window?

While walking my dog I found two old style dolls sitting at the side of a path in the forest. And when I say sitting - I mean someone had sat them down properly....it was creepy!!

Definitely less. You can believe someone left them on the roof after putting their wellies on to walk the dog and forgot about them

An enormous pair of Y-fronts in a tide pool on Barmouth Beach. The kids though it was the funniest thing ever. We concocted an elaborate back story about how the pants came to be in the pool. I wish I could remember it! Even now we laugh about "The Pants Pool"

Numerous pairs of walking boots in a village that doesn't have road access. The residents have planted flowers in them and placed them on a rockery.

My question is what happened to the people that were attached to the feet that got that far in the boots?

They had a couple of hours walk back to the nearest road and it's not barefoot territory.

Maybe they are under the rockery
