We've all seen the "why cant i get a reply" threads, so, for a social experiment post the number of unread messages on your status so that folk may understand that their message wasn't the only one you've received today!

Apart from friends, the messages I receive from strangers a day are in single digits.

If I don’t reply it’s because I don’t want to.

I’m perfectly capable to manage my inbox with those numbers.

I get about new 40 a day on average. Excl friends I talk to. If I post a nice pic it can be 200. And funny enough if I’ve left or received a veri that seems to trigger an influx too! I guess it’s just about where I live.

I try and say thanks to compliments sometimes but the problem is then you just get another 3 messages from that person.

It’s very much luck on here I’d say - I open maybe top 5 messages, or sometimes if a profile pic catches my eye. You can’t possibly look at them all
