if my partner is preparing the meal, then usually when there's a knock on the door she shouts take away's here.

Have a funny story there.

Mum used to run a pub - and every Sunday would set the fire alarm off by cooking the bacon.

All the staff got used to this so used to just say, oh its daft bint burning her bacon.

WELL

One sunday, we were preparing for my little sisters Christening, and daft bint put some fat in a pan on the cooker and didnt tell me.

Sister asking me what the smoke is - me ignoring it thinking it was just boiling water - until i looked and saw all the smoke.

Went to turn it off- as i approached the lid blew off and flames everywhere!!!

grabbed the fireblanket off the wall and shoved it over pan.

WELL

all that did was push the flames to the back of the cooker and up the wall.

FLAMES EVERYWHERE!!!!

I set off the fire alarm and sent me little sis to go tell mummy to ring the fire brigade (YUM)

And all the staff downstairs were pottering around thinking the bint had burnt her bacon again!!!

So funny

He is such a cheeky sod!!! I rarely burn tea - well - the smoke alarm is very sensitive!!! It was lovely to meet you too Z

ya cant burn tea hun, the kettle boils and you add it to the cup with water, lol

reminds me of when my mate had a cooking camping stove and tried to use it IN her little 2 man tent!!!
