Waiting around for my car service. I was pondering about this place. How many of us are on here, how many different professions are on here. I wonder who would offer their services. Almost like a trust a trader thing lol. Maybe for some it impeeds into their personal life too much and may want to keep this side completely seperate. The things you think about when waiting around for a service

Certain professions on here are very common but that's simply down to those being the largest employment sectors.

I’ll happily point at things and say “you’re doing that wrong” if it helps

Manchester (she/her)

I would in principle have no problem with working with someone who happened to be a Fabber, and we both knew about it. (That has actually happened once)

I would not offer my services here even if it were allowed, too many weird power dynamics and weird people who'd make it weird. When I'm working I want to be an entirely asexual blob of working.

I probably could monetise some of my professional skills on here tbh.

(Don't worry mods, I am wildly uninterested in doing so )

I'm retired from professional life and it's staying that way. Now I can just get on with being a sex addict - much more fun.

I've given advice privately before to someone where my job roles have come in handy. But I wouldn't go blasting it about over threads.

I’ve had a lot of interest in my services from fellow Fabbers. I cut through their fantasy by explaining exactly what it would mean in practice. Practically all of them drop the idea.
