Is the name for filling up your car with fuel and driving off without paying the lady at the till for your petrol. Reports that the increase in people doing this is up four fold an last year. Is that another sign of desperation or lawless Britain. What's going on here guys it's all over the news

It's probably both.

I've actually done this, but by accident. I was so used to paying at the pump that I once filled up and then just drove off.

Police caught up with me many months later but it wasn't a drama, I just had to go in and pay.

I occasionally feel uneasy driving off, when I paid in advance at the pump.

The country has massive amounts of people who are struggling and barely able to survive, so this will influence drive off levels. I'm guessing little in the king's speech will do anything to help people
