What made your day today? (Mon)

Rough day today. I’m very self sufficient, and enjoy the loneliness of my job, and indeed my solo life. Usually. The last couple of weeks have been hard though and today especially so.

So what made my day? A message from someone on Fab who knew how I was feeling. Thank you.

What’s made your day today?

I’m glad someone reached out to you today OP. Sometimes a little kindness can make all the difference.

What made my day today? My little one, in the back of the car on the way home from nursery, correctly spelling his name *Proud dad!

On Friday my boss pushed a huge pile of crap my way. At the end of our conversation I mentioned my favourite bakery treat. It was waiting on my desk this morning when I got into work.

I got a dress in the sale for less than a tenner, after extra coupons/vouchers. I just really hope it fits.

Also we met 2 extremely cute puppies at brunch.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Honestly, today nothing.

There's still tomorrow though... because there's a pretty decent chance I'll wake up then too.

My PT being there and waiting to help me in the goods lift (the proper wheelchair lift is STILL broken!) when I came down from work. Him being there to stop people trampling on my and dropping stuff on me, because they're not looking. Mr KC having my daily soup ready for me, when I got in from the gym and for coming outside to help me out of the car, even though it was pissing down. I'm lucky to have a husband, colleagues and PT who are genuinely lovely and caring people
