Do you think your mood shines through on the forum?

If you're in a good, bad, horny, giddy mood etc does it come across in how you post? Do you try to tone it down?

Sometimes it spills through!

Sometimes I exaggerate it slightly. Most of the time I don't think people would be able to tell what mood I'm in.

Only those I chat directly to would be able to tell a more accurate reading of my mood I think.

I 'm not sure. At work I am often grumpy - that definitely shines through. On Fab I like taking the proverbial.

I'm trying really hard to be mindful of what I post currently. Because yes, most of the time my mood is pretty fucking obvious.

If I'm horny, if I'm excited, if I'm feeling hurt, it can be read. I don't know if that's a good thing necessarily.

I’m usually in a good mood, and I guess that comes through (I certainly don’t try to hide it). As for the horn, no, I mostly keep that suppressed on the forums. I do express myself sometimes in private messages, I like writing messages filled with lust, but for the most part forums are just flirting.

What about you OP? Do we get your true moods or are you keeping yourself in check? Xx

I’m not sure if my mood comes through in what I post on here. If I’m in a really bad mood I try to stay away because I don’t want to take that out on others.

My mood doesn't always come through what I post in the forum, especially not to strangers but I think those that speak to me privately would be better able to spot them .

I don't try to hide how I'm feeling but if I'm in a proper shitty mood I will make a conscious effort not to snap at arseholes or look at me stuff.

Oh Em that's sweet but it would be good sometimes to not be so... that way? People think of those who are neurodiverse as being stoic. Barely portraying emotion. I too readily show mine. My close friends on here are able to read my mood from one post. I get an "Oh Meli, no, don't do it" or a "very well oiled machine" message.

I stay away from here if I find myself taking posts negatively as I am in a grumpy mood. Otherwise, pretty sure my posts are fairly neutral and unoffensive to anyone without giving any indication of my mood.

People have a very skewed view of neurodiversity thanks to the media. I don't always understand my emotions but I definitely experience a ton of them.

I think my emotions probably affect my posts here and also whether I want to even post at all.

Really bad mood: Occasionally Yes, then I stay off and chill.

Bad mood: No. Make a lot of unfunny jokes.

Good=Okay: Not sure, but probably nobody cares.

Horny: I think it comes across clearly regardless of my mood.

I didn't think so but apparently it does, I posted a few months back & a few comments on posts caused a few members to inbox and check on me which I thought was absolutely lovely but also made me aware of how my mood does come across in the forums without even realising.

I think my mood shows even when I'm not aware of it. My family life means I have to suppress emotions a lot, which can mean they spill out here or in a 1:1 with a friend.

I'm usually more aware and careful when I'm pissed off, but not so much when I'm hurt and upset.

I don’t overthink things when I’m posting on here. I barely think at all, really. It’s an almost unfiltered line straight from gut reaction to thumbs to forum post.

So if my mood doesn’t come across, it’s only because I’m not that great a writer.

I think so, if I’m in a “can’t be arsed/shitty” mood I tend to receive a lot less replies however if I’m hyperactive bouncy chatty me I appear to be more appealing

On the whole I don't think it shows. Unless it does and I don't realise. Normally I'll just go very quiet and step back if I'm in a bad mood. But I have done a Nocturnal when I was really upset due to family things and no one would have had a clue.

I don't think I've ever been horny while on fab du that will never come across.

I dip in and out most days and I mostly post light hearted stuff but every now and again if something catches my eye that I believe is unfair or unbalanced I will say so and that skews my daily quota into looking more serious than I actually am.
