Means different things to different people.

For some it's deliberately acting up to get a spanking for example. This can be a from of topping from the bottom. Or it's part of the way the couple work to get to where they want to be.

Others it happens when their needs aren't met and they vent it, in a rather unproductive way.

I am a brat when i play that way.
