Rock and metal must haves

It's that time again... I've a rock and metal club night just a few weeks out and it's always good to hear the essential masterpieces people just can't go without to satisfy that rock and metal itch.

What would the staples of a rock playlist consist of if you had but a few you could choose?

Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple

Wishing Well - Free

Ace of Spades - Motörhead

A bit embarrassed I can’t think of any female artists, to be honest.

But for me all (or certainly one or two) of the above should be on a must have playlist.

Ghost are another favourite of mine... I completely understand it not being everyone's cuppa but for me it is a premium choice.

Dance macabre by ghost is definitely going to be played at rock night but so will many of peoples faves such as rammstein, motley crue, Jane's addiction etc.

It's amazing to have a night where the music is epic from start to finish. Feed off those riffs and unmistakable vocals!
