I've only been on here at a tgirl for a short while but unfortunately been pestered by guys who if I decline to see them keep sending emails asking me to explain my decision? I see no reason shy I should waste my time doing this. I prefer to use my time on Fab for more positive correspondence. Is this pestering a common problem?

Very common, just say no & block them or ignore them.

I used to give the polite no thank you, I don't anymore it's not worth the hassle.

Use your message filters on your privacy page.

This cuts most of the faff out.

VERY common, but quite soon a ‘nice guy’ will turn up to tell you it’s #NotAllMen because that makes the problem go away.

Sadly it leads to women/couples/TVs spending a lot of their profile saying what they don’t want, in an effort to discourage the pesterers to not email to begin. Then the ‘nice guys’ complain that women are stuck up and negative.

Had a woman grab my wrist to stop me once at an outdoor event with her partner after i had said I wasn’t interested in playing but thanks for offer . Had to ask her firmly does she think it’s acceptable to try detain a person. Her response she expected respect and a full explanation of why I wouldn’t play with them both as no one rejects her usually

We reply to pretty much everyone as we believe just because it’s an online interaction, doesn’t mean you start being ignorant. If someone spoke to you in the supermarket or other social setting you wouldn’t just ignore them, well we wouldn’t anyway.

But if we’ve sent someone a message saying we’re not interested, further explanation is not necessary. Occasionally we’ll explain why if it’s been an ongoing conversation and they suddenly highlight something that’s a dealbreaker, but most of the time we just block and delete. Time is precious

Yup. This is exactly what happens 99 percent of the time... they then try to force you to change your mind and meet them using every way they can think of. This is why i have been forced to delete the messages im not interested in without reply andvif they message again. I block them.

I used to answer back politely explaining my reasons but it just got abusive most of the time and pestering so i just don't do it now.

If I say no thanks to someone, I now block straight away to stop them having chance to ask why not or be rude.

It's your decision and the fact that they can't respect that shows you made the right decision.
