One thing I’ve realised is , I’m not able to drink and have same energy the next day , as I use to in my teens/ early twenties.

Does it happen as we age?

Checked your profile and your 27, only 3 more years until you start getting the 2 day hangovers! It only gets worse pal, enjoy it while you can

Seriously it’s real, as soon as I hit 30 booom 2 day hangovers, it was at this point I decided I’m only drinking a couple of times a years, there are not enough spare days for recovery

Thankfully don't get the 2 day hangover thing or I wouldn't drink.

I do prefer fresh weekends though.

I got a three day hang over between having child 2 and 3. I was in my late 20's. It was horrendous. Drink plenty of water. It stops the bad head. The tiredness though, I have nothing to offer for that.

The other possibility is that as we get older we are able to drink more alcohol which in turn leads to worse hangovers.

Nope I had more hangovers in my younger years think my head is able to control them better and filtering through either that or I don't go as heavy

True that uni days were happy days , I use to go out party , sleep a few hours back again at uni/work and no problems

I've decided to give you alcohol until Christmas. Running is a main hobby of mine so it doesn't go well with alcohol

"I got my first hangover at 30 "

My first(and last so far) was last year on our honeymoon. All inclusive drinks are deadly

But yes, I like my sleep too much these days. I can't stay up all night and go to work in the morning like I used to

No... I have never had a hangover and when I drink (a couple of times a month) It would be considered, fairly heavily... I think if I got hangovers I would have quit by now

I was ok until I hit 30, then the hangovers really kicked in. So now I just don't drink.

Wait until you get into your 40's and 50's. I hardly drink nowadays as I just can't stand the hangover and wasted days.
