Reports that the new M&S Christmas advert outtakes have caused offence and been withdrawn. An outake image posted on Instagram showed a red green and silver Christmas paper hats being burned on a coal fire. Bizarrely the perpetually offended have decided that the burning hats resemble a Palestinian flag so M&S have withdraw the outake and apologised for any offence caused. Which are the bigger idiots here? It's all over the news

Sometimes coloured hats are just coloured hats.

Personally I think its all total nonsense. Just a coincidence of colours and nothing more. People really do make me sick at all thier pretend outrage and offence. As for burning Christmas hats etc, I'm all for it, and throw in all the stupid Hallowean crap to!

Of course there could bee a conspiracy theory here. Marks and Spencer linked to one community and a politically inspired disgruntled employee making a point. Think the classical artists leaving clues in their paintings... An outstretched hand indicating that they have not been paid...

There is more to this story than meets the eye. Mark Tom's words

I think it's ridiculous, those colours are very common with Christmas people get offended over anything these days, I mean I just threw out a white piece of paper anyone want to say I'm being racist against the whites? Honestly people have nothing better to do than they find fault where there isn't none.

The conflict only kicked off a few weeks ago. If they were meaning to cause offence they’ve done bloody well to get that advert produced in such short time

Do you seriously not think the powers that be have everything already planned?

Not convinced it was an "outtake". Not convinced that somebody was stupid enough to just post something like that at the most important time of year for a retailer and get it signed off by multiple people. I don't believe M&S.
