i've never seen a tastefully decorated house yet, they seem to have no co-ordination and just look like theve filled whatever gaps they can with lights, just awful.

I put some around the porch and a couple in the window, well my daughter makes me but that's enough for me but I do like some of the more tastefully decorated ones I just wouldn't do it myself.

my neighbours do and it looks shocking..

he only put lights on the bottom 2 branches of a tree in his garden...

I fell off the kerb of the pavement as I minced past giggling...

I deserved it.. what goes around and all that.

Bolton

we normally have a 10 foot tree outside in the rear garden and we put lights on the tree at the front of the house.

We do try to keep the whole effect quite nice tho. honest

A family near us have the house done up like Blackpool iluminations !!... But should also add, they also have a collection box outside and donate the money to a local foster home every year in time for xmas...

Nice to see goodwill prevails sometimes !!

Much like our neighbours, those directly next door and those across the road, they both look like an explosion in a second hand christmas decoration shop occurred with the contents splatting across their homes.

Oh the tacky look - I think not. Thankfully my neighbours also have taste and the most you'll see is a wreath on the doors, lit Christmas tree in the window and maybe some fairy lights around porches.
