Incredibly Tom the guy who was apologising on their behalf said it would take time to sort out .

They can fly planes with incredible precision but can't put a stop to abusive behaviour quickly.

That old chestnut. Women are just too sensitive and can't take a joke

Tom has seen these buggers im action. In the mess in their red flying suits giving it large. And women chasing them.

The movie Top Gun is closer to home than you think.

I’ve known a few of them - most pilots tend to be up their own arses a bit (excluding helicopter pilots - much more down to earth types) and the attitude comes with the job…

The joke went “how do you know there’s a Harrier Pilot in the Mess Bar…. because he’ll tell you”

….. but the transition to the Sparrows makes them almost unbearable…

They were arrogant pricks to other men and their attitude to women being even worse doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

"It's in all the forces and police. "

Can you point out a career where there isn't discrimination of some sort?

I think there's more misogyny in male heavy jobs but I think it's a societal problem not an industry problem.
