Does anyone on here trade in crypto? Xrp has had a good week but will ot live up to the hype it has? I’m a novice in the crypto world but hold a fair bit of Xrp and wondering whether I should hold out for what the hype says or just take profit now? Any suggestions are welcome??

All over

I would have more luck getting out of the labyrinth without getting across the minotaur than navigating through all that crypto stuff

NFTs have always been junk. I saw a documentary explaining what they actually are and they are just ridiculous. You pay for your name to go in a bit of code. That's it. It's a total con.

Without wishing to be a killjoy, my advice is to avoid crypto. It has no inherent value and it is highly unpredictable. The whole crypto thing is similar to a Ponzi scheme.

I don't, I don't plan to, but if you do, check out Coffeezilla - highly respected commentator on the subject (YouTube)

Naaah, the real money left back in March 23 and now it’s just pump and dump with fake money to lure suckers in.

Next bitcoin halving will be in April 24.

Expect it to get buoyant before and drop after.

My portfolio is currently 58% up.

Needs to be watched carefully though.

I am very much into xrp holding as I know the potential it reach.

Kinda wish I did not sell some of my xrp to go into stocks lol as had 26,000 xrp now down to like 8,000 but even with that hitting certain levels I will still make profit

"I have sold all mine at a small profit "

For me to take decent profit has to hit 6.70 however we are in accumulation mode xrp is a few years away from getting to wear it needs to be annoying but can be done especially when certain others like sol ffs have done amazing

I respect Coffeezilla but he has in the past said he holds Bitcoin and Etherium.

He called out Sam Bankman Fried 6 months before it all came crashing down and Celsius about a month before it too collapsed.

While there may be some long term value in Bitcoin, as it has limited supply and can be used as a store of value, nobody should put more than 5% of their wealth in it. It’s a calculated risk.

Nobody is ever going to get rich by selling each other ones and zeroes for ever increasing sums. The pump and dump of Dogecoin (and other scams) reflected what the industry is really like.

We are big into it. Mr is studying computer science and always talks about it being the future. With things like the Lyft and Uber scandal, projects like teleport a decentralised car share app is very interesting. And helium network too x

the land of saints & sinners

I have a broad spectrum of crypto Litecoin, Etheteum, Cardano to name a few.

All have seen wild fluctuations both up and down….

I only have a small amounts invested about £20 at a time. Once it makes about £10 on what I initially staked I trade it in for something else I made a few hundred over the last few years.

If it drops I just sit on it until it goes back up….

Only invest what you can afford to lose….

I’m never going to make millions on what I invest but it funds pizza and beer nights….

Crypto is just a digital asset.

Like vitual money.

Like in real life money is used for buying goods lecit or illecit.

Same goes to crypto.

I have been involved in the web3 industry for many years.

Developed tokens, Dex's (Decentralised Exchange) and now developing a payment system.

The industry is growing. And crypto will become a methot of payment in the future.

Banks like revolut already allows you to hold crypto. The infrastructure and the services are currently scarce.

That's why we are developing systems that will allow the public trade in crypto.

Security is the upmost important thing. All contracts are audited and checked.

Crypto is here to stay.

Just need to use it properly.
