What's the most amount of weight

You've put on in a short time?

Pregnancy excluded.

Was there a reason for it? Like a health condition, mental health, lifestyle change, menopause, quitting smoking etc.

Obviously you don't have to give all the details or the actual amount of weight gained.

Somewhere In The Ether…

It’s always over Christmas for me and simply down to gluttony.

I think I put on about half a stone over a very short time a few years ago via said over self indulgence

Honestly I've never paid attention to what I gain and lose. Well not in terms of time frame.

Never put much weight on, but lost almost 10kg over the course of a month due to trauma and stress. That was a few years ago now.

10 kilos. A kilo for every year of marriage On and off from time to time. Comfortable life, sitting job, processed food I didn't know existed. Constantly trying to lose them. Not going well, PT included.

Weight.. A moment

Do we care how our paunch looks?

I certainly don't care about paunch. It is what is inside a person that weights it for me

Pregnancy weight disappeared right after I gave birth.

Sagittarius A

Between my uni exams ending and graduation, well it went on after that.

I don't know how long it lasted exactly. I'd broke up with my gf. Went drinking with my Irish mates. It was a kind of unofficial tour of everyone's home towns. Ending in Dublin for a 21st.

I don't know exactly but none of my clothes fit. We turned it into a joke and would go to charity shops when we hit towns and pick clothes each other had to wear.

Guinness lots of Guinness, fried breakfasts and Kebabs. There were a few casualties along the way. And we sang many a song for our fallen brothers.

I put 3.5st on when I stopped smoking yrs ago. It didn't creep on either, I was fine for about 5/6 months then boom I was fatter!!

It took a while to get rid of it, and in the end I started smoking again so not even worth the journey

I put on a lot of weight during covid lockdown, probably three or four stone. Combination of being locked in without anywhere safe nearby to exercise (I lived in a rough area) and an awful diet of junk food and takeaways as a result of my mental health going through the floor.

I’m still trying to shift it all, waking up at 5am to get to the gym for 6.

A stone and a half after suffering Bells palsy and stopping all physical activities.

Lost that and more some years later just by giving up dairy.

I tend to put weight on when I'm happy, a few weeks of happiness and I'm definitely up a dress size.

I don't think I've ever moved over half a stone max whatever I eat. I just get ill if I don't eat well or I keep eating the bad stuff! I've come to terms with my thinness (I can even win from it thanks to fab) but there is nothing great about being thin, nor inherently wrong in carrying weight.

Just try and stay in health and find a look that makes you happy I think.

10 kg within a year due to menopause, I think. Wouldn’t even notice if my GP wouldn’t call me for my annual check up, because all my clothes still fit exactly the same.

Doesn’t bother me, to be honest.

Almost 3 stone, I'm at the heaviest I have ever been right now & it feels so alien.

I actually don't know why though, I got down to my ore pregnancy weight after my little one, around 6 months after him it started piling on and has carried on until now so around 18 months.

La la land

Illness, spell in HDU and bed bound for a while after, and even after that couldn't move mych. Put on goodness knows how much on. That's all I know it's taking me longer to shift it than it did putting it on.

Not sure what the gain was but I went from a 30" waist to a 36" in less than 6 months. The cause I do know...real ale, lots and lots of ale! Wasn't a drinking problem was just the adventures in my early 20's.
