What are your plans for the big day this year (xmas that is). Spending with family, doing all the cooking, going out for dinner, you are off on holiday somewhere or perhaps working? Even if you don't celebrate it and whatever it is that you do, I hope it is just what you are happy with and still have a lovely time.

We shall stay at home for a family Xmas and only venture outside to put the wrapping paper to recycle! Eat chocolate, play games, watch telly, drink and be merry

Mr N and I will exchange gifts first thing then he'll go to fetch my dad while I get lunch going.

Sometime during the late afternoon we'll both take dad back home.

Boxing day will be our day together

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I'll be hanging out at home with the dogs, hearing my family having fun next door.

At some point I will pop round to see my dad, and hopefully my nephews.

But mostly it'll be like any other day.

Tbf I always enjoy boxing day best. All the pressure of the big day gone, much more relaxing and plenty of left overs

We spend it at home with just our little family. We get together with my parents, siblings and nephews either boxing day or new years, depends when my sister has her kids.

We might go up to Scotland to see my husband's family at some point, but not Christmas day.

No family to fuss over me.. Lovely or say oi you do the washing up. No waiting for granny and gramps. I love peace at Christmas time that is what it should resemble peace, love, joy to good men.. Who wrote that?

Well this year is going to be the hardest one of my life, having lost both my parents now this is going to be the last Christmas in the family home we have had had for 34 years before it is sold, so many memories, some good, some bad, so I will be all home alone with a microwaved roast dinner and maybe some chocolates

Depends if my bambino’s are with me or their Dad for Christmas Day.

It feels less special when they aren’t here and it’s definitely quieter!

We usually get up, have breakfast, take it in turns unwrapping gifts. My mum does the Dinner, we have a glass of Prosecco with it, usually a nice pudding, I tidy up the kitchen. Then we usually watch Christmassy stuff on the telly. If my kids are home then I’m putting together something or other.

We have a snacky tea.

Christmas Call the Midwife or some such with a glass of Baileys in the evening.

Bed.

(Our Christmas is very quiet as we have no other relatives now so no visitors or going out and about).
