when im home alone i spend precious little (just as well as i dont earn much) - i live simply and on quite basic foods - save the treats for when kids come back from uni - reckon 25 quid tops for me

I've been trying to eat more healthily the last 2months, wrote a list for today following a weeks worth of 'simple' recipes (and one or two toiletries) have come home £132 lighter

When I was eating shite stuff, that could've lasted me a month. Not so sure I can keep this up AND pay a mortgage

Hopefully I can stretch this lot over 2weeks instead of one

about £40-50 for two of us in the flat but there's a chipper on the way to my work and I'm a sucker for fizzy drinks and crisps so probably another £20 per week when I'm at work.

If I am on my own not a lot... but I am rarely on my own and it so varies from whether it is OH and myself plus one or all of our children... really hard to quantify.

About £140 per week between me and my girlfriend... I eat a lot!

Probably about £20 a week.

I eat way more when I'm working away - and 3/4 nights a week on expenses cuts down the food shopping a lot!

But maybe £20-30 a week on wine!
