Gateway to the Beacons |
Amidst autumn’s breath, the veil grows thin,
Between the now and what has been,
The ancient roots of Hollow's eve,
In whispered winds, the past does weave.
Upon this night, the cold earth cradles,
The ghostly tales and age-old fables,
Samhain's fire, a sacred call,
To honour cycles, in leaves that fall.
Amid the quiet, whispers roam,
As spirits find their way back home,
A dance with death, the living learn,
In autumn’s crisp, the wheel does turn.
Beyond the guise of playful fright,
Lies a bridge 'twixt day and night,
A time to heed the ancient lore,
And feel the pulse of life once more.
A call to honour what's deceased,
In love’s remembrance, souls released,
Halloween, a sacred seam,
Between the seen and the unseen. |
