Last time I was called "good boy" must have been when I was actually a boy. I don't know how I would feel if a female companion called me that.

I was once called "daddy" by a woman I was seeing and it went straight through me. I asked her never to call me that again in the bedroom.

Each to their own I suppose.

I see it as power play, almost animalistic. You say it while patting a horse. Owner Vs pet. You're unsure what the pet can do, but there's some level of self assurance that they'll be happy.

Good girl I see as more of a nurturing statement.

The lighthearted comical use of it is more of a turn on than the phrase.

If somebody was using it in a more serious way to make a dynamic work by "forcing it" then I'd rather they didn't. But again I don't get hung up on that stuff.
