Due to have a hysteroscopy and also a hysteroscopic endometrial ablation....just wondering if anyone had one and how they were after it been done !!!!

i had mine doene yesterday and i feel awful got shakes feel sick i had mine done uder spinal block tho

had to look it up - thought it might have been a new name for lapascopy of which ive had a couple - i think it will be ok - no cutting and can be done at a clinic visit it seems - my advise is to relax and good luck s xxx

Yes ...had hysteroscopy before and was fine straight after

i was fine after mine had a bit of tummy cramp for about an hour but other than that i was ok xxx

sounds like its a good thing to have and will hopefully be an end to your period problems - i used to live a living hell prekids - i have my son to thank for settling it all down - if youre having a general aneasthetic you will feel groggy for a couple of days anyway whilst it works its way out of your system xxxx

unfortunatly my op didnt work so went on to have a hystorectomy best thing i ever done

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

I went in to hospital in nov 2011 to have this procedure done under general anesthetic but woke to find that its hadnt been done to the size of my womb.

I then went on to have a radical Hysterectomy due stage one cell changes and have never looked back since ,so it doesnt always go to play but if it doesnt there are always other options open to you depending on why your having it done in the first place xxx

Yes, felt fine. Had two hysteroscopies to biopsy my fibroids. I didn't have a local injection, didn't really need it, though the hysterscope itself is a fearsome bit of kit!

Slight cramping, a little bleeding but the reality is, like everything we all experience things differently.
